Acts 1:4—5 Yeshua told the Apostles not to leave Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit comes, a gift from the father. In the Tanach (Old Testament), the Holy Spirit would fill a person for a moment or for a time. After Yeshua’s ascension, God put His Ruwach Ha-Kodesh inside of each believer permanently, we have His spirit indwelling. Jer 31:33 I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; NASU
We are in-deed without excuse. As the Father provides knowledge, the Son Understanding, the Holy Spirit provides Wisdom. Wisdom in Hebrew has a feminine connotation to it. This is why some Kabalistic groups teach that the Holy Spirit is feminine. Even though this is not true, it does teach us something about God’s nature, as we learned last week with the name Elohim, His plural nature includes wisdom and she is beautiful, fleeting like a dove in flight, and as powerful as the Wind.
רוּחַ Ruwach actually means Wind; by resemblance breath as in a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being, and then by taste: expression, and by touch: function.[i]
Yahwah’s Wind cannot be grasped, but He can be held and when you hold onto Him…, He encompasses you… רוּחַ הקֹּדֶשׁ .
Wisdom: There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
